A musical as a dramatic criminal story? The answer is: Yes! Is it even possible for the main character not to show up on the scene? The answer is: Why not! Since its premiere the musical Rebecca has been successfully performed in ten big European metropolises. The nature of a good musical lies in an engaging story. The novel Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier was filmed in 1940 by the famous director Alfred Hitchcock. It has been turned into a musical by the prestigious producers of the Viennese musical school, composer Sylvester Levay and lyricist and playwright Michael Kunze. Productions by this pair are not really known in our country so far, but we dare to announce that this title will become the dramatic hit of the season.
