Collegium 1704&nbsp;Baroque Orchestra, which focuses on early music with a predominant focus on the high Baroque period. Especially works of composer Jan Dismas Zelenka and his contemporaries. It was founded in 1991 by its conductor, horn player and harpsichordist V&aacute;clav Luks. Since 2005 the ensemble expanded by vocal ensemble Collegium Vocale 1704 based on the occasion of an international music project "Bach - Prague - 2005". Many recordings were valued domestic and international criticism of the magazine Diapason, Repertoire, Concerto, Fonoforum or Harmony. The PKO-Prague Chamber Orchestra (PKO) is one of the four oldest chamber orchestras in Europe. It was founded in 1951 and its history has never been interrupted since then. It stands out as an orchestra of the so-called Mozart cast (34 musicians), which is able to perform without a conductor. At the beginning of its existence, it focused mainly on interpretations of earlier Czech music, the music of Classicism and Early Romanticism. Later, it included in its repertoire also compositions of the 20th century and subsequently began to perform also entirely new work of contemporary composers. Currently, the PKO has a number of premieres to its credit.&nbsp;PKO quickly took its place among the musical bodies most in demand in the country and already one year after its foundation was a guest of the (then only a few years old) festival Prague Spring. In the more than 60 years of its existence, it has performed many thousands of concerts, of which precisely 2,223 have taken place abroad as of December 2014. The travel history of the PKO is very rich: with the exception of the Antarctic it has performed on all of the continents &ndash; a total of&nbsp;64 countries. Other than its European tours (in which it has visited all of the states except Albania), it has completed ten tours of South America, sixteen in the USA and Canada and nine in Japan.The orchestra has cooperated with a number of artistic personalities with renowned names. The conductors include, for instance, Sir Charles Mackerras, V&aacute;clav Neumann, Gerd Albrecht and Trevor Pinnock. Most talented students in conjunction with renowned artists are given the opportunity to perform in front of sold out halls.At the opening of the 21st year, the highly successful Czech debut of the virtuoso Italian orchestra Performers Veneziani was made.&nbsp;It is held under the auspices of Mr. Jaroslav Kubera, President of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, Mr. Radek Vondr&aacute;ček, Chairman of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, Mr. Petr Hejma, 1st Vice-President of Prague 1.The most important mission is to support young emerging artists by creating opportunities for their concert performances in important concert centers of the Prague metropolis and also for contact and cooperation with already renowned personalities of the Czech music scene.The Festival of Music also aims to enrich and make the cultural offer of the metropolis more attractive and attractive with a quality show in the field of chamber music with the participation of renowned artists from the Czech Republic and abroad.

The goal of the Academy of Classical Music, founded in 2002, is to promote and popularise Czech music in the Czech Republic and abroad. Inspired by the legacy of the life and works of the composer Anton&iacute;n Dvoř&aacute;k, the Academy is gradually expanding its range of activities that involve broadening cultural values, advancing culture in all areas, and last but not least, educating and supporting young artists, novice musicians, and youth interested in culture.Since 2008, it has been presenting the&nbsp;<a href="https://akademieklasickehudby.cz/cs/aktivity/dvorakova-praha">Dvoř&aacute;k Prague International Music Festival</a>, and since 2009 it has awarded the&nbsp;<a href="https://akademieklasickehudby.cz/cs/aktivity/cena-antonina-dvoraka">Anton&iacute;n Dvoř&aacute;k Prize</a>. Beginning in 2020, it is a co-presenter of the Dvoř&aacute;k International Radio Competition for Young Musicians&nbsp;<a href="https://akademieklasickehudby.cz/cs/aktivity/concertino-praga">Concertino Praga</a>&nbsp;and of the&nbsp;<a href="https://akademieklasickehudby.cz/cs/aktivity/orchestralni-akademie">Orchestral Academy</a>&nbsp;at the Summer Music Academy in Kroměř&iacute;ž. This serves as the basis for a newly established youth orchestra called the&nbsp;<a href="https://akademieklasickehudby.cz/cs/aktivity/mlada-filharmonie">Dvoř&aacute;k Prague Youth Philharmonic</a>, which will present itself for the first time at a concert of the 2020 Dvoř&aacute;k Prague International Music Festival.Besides these regularly occurring activities, the Academy of Classical Music is actively involved in public life, and it attempts to contribute towards the advancement of society&rsquo;s cultural values. In 2017, 2018, and 2019 it supported the St Vitus Organ Fund. For no charge, the academy prepared the dramaturgy and secured production for organ benefit concerts that were broadcast by Czech Television.In the field of education, it made a contribution with the 2016 Cultural Leadership Summit &ndash; Leading Successful Cultural Projects in the 21st&nbsp;Century. Under the leadership of professional instructors from the DeVos Institute, the conference programme offered four days of intensive training on the building of a stable, healthy organisational culture with a focus on income diversified into fundraising, sponsoring, revenue from ticket sales, and other alternative possibilities in the context of Europe. The participants worked on artistic planning and programme marketing for the gaining of a public and on institutional marketing to make the organisation and its activities more visible, creating the prerequisites for successful fundraising. The training sessions also covered the mechanisms and types of fundraising along with strategic planning.

The Academy of Classical Music

Činohern&iacute; klub&nbsp;was founded in 1965 as part of the State Theater Studio (director Milos Herc&iacute;k). At its birth were two former classmates from the Theatre Faculty of Academy of Performing Arts - Ladislav Smoček director and dramaturge Jaroslav Vostr&yacute;, who also became the first artistic director of the theater. Currently, the theater operates Ivana Ch&yacute;lkov&aacute;, Jaromir Dulava, Andrew Vetch&yacute;, Petr N&aacute;rožn&yacute;, Nela Boudov&aacute;, Marek Tacl&iacute;k, Vladimir Kratina, Stanislav Zindulka and more.

The Kutn&aacute; Hora International Music Festival&nbsp;ranks among Czech foremost chamber music events. The general outline of its programme and the selection of artists taking part are determined by the festival&rsquo;s&nbsp;artistic director,&nbsp;the cellist Jiř&iacute; B&aacute;rta.&nbsp;The programme is focused predominantly on classical chamber music. That notwithstanding, Jiř&iacute; B&aacute;rta has invariably incorporated into the festival lineup of concerts a&nbsp;special treat picked from the domains of crossover, jazz, or even rock music. This is a&nbsp;feature that has never failed to thrill the event&rsquo;s&nbsp;audiences.&nbsp;Everything that can be heard at the festival is actually created on the spot, in Kutn&aacute; Hora. Most of the concerts come into existence as a&nbsp;result of as many creative workshops. That, to be sure, is something which sets this particular festival apart from most others, since otherwise it is extremely rare for a&nbsp;group of excellent solo musicians to get together on the same stage at one time. Hence the immense joy of music-making that is literally tangible during each of the concert nights here.&nbsp;The concerts take place in&nbsp;Corpus Christi Chapel, Church of St. Barbara, Refectory of Jesuit College &ndash; Central Bohemian Region Gallery / GASK, etc.

<div>The National Moravian-Silesian Theatre (based in 1919) is the biggest and oldest professional theatre in Ostrava and in the Moravian-Silesian region. At the same time is the biggest cultural institution established by the statutory city of Ostrava. Theatre perform regularly on two permanent scenes &ndash; in the Anton&iacute;n Dvoř&aacute;k Theatre (seating capacity of 517) and in the Jiř&iacute; Myron Theatre (seating capacity of 623). The National Moravian-Silesian Theatre is the only theatre in Moravia, which has four artistic companies:</div><ul><li>opera</li><li>&nbsp;drama</li><li>&nbsp;ballet</li><li>&nbsp;operetta/musical</li></ul><div>The theatre presents about 20&nbsp;premieres&nbsp;per year and plays almost 500 performances. Tradition of theater in Pribram has more than fifty years. The foundation stone theater A. Dvorak was laid May 1, 1957. The building hosts both theater performances and exhibitions, tours, musical performances, meetings, etc. The complex was designed by Ing. arch. Hilsk&yacute; and is located on the southeastern outskirts of settlements Birch Mountains. Currently, the theater A. Dvorak Pribram fifteen-art troupe. Prague&nbsp;Theatre Ungelt&nbsp;is a chamber scene for less than a hundred spectators. It focuses on games for two to four characters, offering exceptional opportunities to exceptional actors.
