German piano virtuoso Martin Helmchen has decided to frame his recital with sonatas by Franz Schubert. Among them, the famous Beethoven's "Moonlight Sonata" will be heard, along with the more contemporary Chaconne by Sofia Gubaidulina.

Martin Helmchen has chosen to frame his recital with sonatas by Franz Schubert. In the pianist's rich discography, we find a number of Schubert's compositions, including his complete works for violin and piano with violinist Julia Fischer.
