ABOUT PERFORMANCE

Dreamy Christmas fairy tale the Nutcracker adapted as a ballet, with the recorded music by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, in the premises of the Broadway theatre in the Prague. The original choreography was created by Lev Ivanov and since its premiere at the Imperial Mariinsky Theatre in Saint Petersburg in 1892, it has been one of the iconic ballet titles of the classical repertoire worldwide.

The duration of our choreography created by Alexander Kysil  is 105 minutes, including a 15-minute interval, which makes it suitable for both adults and young audiences. Come and join us to discover a thrilling story full of magic, emotions, imagination, love and dreams  - and wake the true spirit of Christmas. Is the story of Clara and her favourite toy Nutcracker just a fantasy or reality? Is uncle Drosselmeyer  a true magician? Can the characters from the puppet show that Clara saw on Christmas Eve come to life? The answers are for you to see…

The performance is accompanied by recorded music.
