ABOUT THE CONCERT 

The premiere of the original project Plus/Minus Ro©k by the Janáček Philharmonic Ostrava will bring a completely new combination of rock music with orchestral sound. Jan Lstibůrek, the author of the arrangements, together with the evening’s soloists, singer Hana Holišová, musician Michal Skořepa and guitarist Jiří Kučerovský, were inspired by 1991, a key period for the rock scene over the last forty years. Together they will present for the first time a new arrangement of rock songs for a multi-member orchestral interpretation. The industrial space of the Gong will be filled with essential songs by Nirvana, Metallica, Red Hot Chilli Peppers and other legendary bands.
