New Year’s Concert

ABOUT THE CONCERT 

The turn of the year is a period of determination for new, better beginnings. As the saying goes, "As you start the New Year, so you'll spend the whole year." Some adhere to the tradition of eating lentils on New Year's, while the Prague Symphony Orchestra traditionally enters the new year to the rhythm of the furiant, convinced that the earthy energy abundant in the Slavonic Dances contributes greatly.
