Pavel Černý – Organ Recital
Karel Martínek, who intimately knows the organs in the Church of St. Maurice and in St. Wenceslas Cathedral in Olomouc, studied in Paris and fell in love with French music. This music suits the monumental instrument in the Municipal House perfectly. Of course, Johann Sebastian Bach cannot be absent, as he is the chief organist in heaven.

ABOUT THE CONCERT
For the first time, Karel Martínek will take a seat at the magnificent organ in the Smetana Hall. He is a Moravian organist and a keen improviser, intimately familiar with the organs in both of Olomouc's sanctuaries: St. Maurice Church and St. Wenceslas Cathedral.
