Orbiting Zero

Contemporary circus, object theatre, and new magic come together in a contemporary circus interpretation of magical realism — Orbiting Zero.

This solo performance blurs the boundaries between realities through elements of new magic and explores the physical (im)possibilities of plastic juggling rings.

Orbiting Zero is like an endless spiral orbiting around the theme of creation.

The performer and the audience are drawn into a visual universe that deconstructs the circle as a shape and juggling as an art form.

Aleš invites the audience to peek behind closed doors — into the workshop where he develops ideas and discovers connections between expectation and reality.

Each invention offers a new dialogue between the artist’s intention and the intuition of the material, capturing them in an endless loop of absurd situations.

Please note that the performance contains strobe lighting and loud sound effects.
