ABOUT CONCERT
The most influential jazzman of the 50s - 60s known for his compositions: In A Sentimental Mood, My Little Brown Book, My One And Only Love or Blue Train. John Coltrane alias Trane was a famous American jazz saxophonist and great composer. He entered the world of music with his unique talent.
Dexter Gordon, nicknamed Long Tall Dexter. A man who in the 1950s released a successful record bearing his name and featured artists with a capital U such as Nat King Cole and Harry Edison. Who doesn't know the famous photo from 1948 of Dexter enjoying a cigarette during his performance.
One of the most important and influential artists of the post-bebop era. We are talking about the winner of several Grammy awards - Sonny Rollins. You can look forward to the song St. Thomas, which comes from the collective music work Saxophone Colossus.
Charlie Parker, known to many as Yarbird. He got his nickname from an incident that happened on the way back from a tour when he accidentally knocked over a chicken. An icon of the hipster community was at the birth of bebop.
American saxophonist Stan Getz, who rose to fame early in his career performing with Woody Herman's orchestra. Songs: The Girl From Ipanema or Corcovado were used in many films.

In 2016, according to The Guardian newspaper, Club Reduta was one of the top ten jazz places in Europe and ranked it among the elite clubs of its kind anywhere. It gradually became more than a building, it is a term and a part of history, a cultural monument mentioned in professional publications and shown in foreign films.
The club is located in the heart of Prague, a few steps from the National Theater, Old Town Square and Wenceslas Square. Service is provided by trained staff, and of course there is the possibility to book VIP seats where Václav Havel and Bill Clinton once sat.
