Adventures of the fox called Bystroška

Leoš Janáček used his fascination with nature and his love for it, which represents a temporary, but still beautiful and respectable part of life for both human and animal individuals, when creating The adventures of the fox called Bystrouška. The opera was created full of playfulness, wit, wildness, love, sadness and wisdom - simply full-blooded life. Her original story was found by Janáček in an illustrated newspaper series by writer Rudolf Těsnohlídek.
