The National Theatre
For the lovers of drama II
The Drama Ensemble will present stories of love, misunderstanding, and a world on the brink of disaster at the New Stage, National Theatre, and Estates Theatre. At the New Stage, directed by Štěpán Gajdoš, you'll see Roland Schimmelpfennig's play "100 Songs", while young playwright Tomáš Loužný will present a dramatization of Gustave Flaubert's "Madame Bovary". The National Theatre will see the return of the ancient Greek tragedy "Oresteia" in a adaptation by British playwright Robert Icke, exploring a world post-war and new beginnings. The season will conclude with an original production "Three Musketeers and Me" directed by Dmitrij Krymov at the Estates Theatre, blending elements from the works of Alexandre Dumas and Jules Verne.
