ABOUT THE PERFORMANCE
The traditional Gala Show and the grand finale of Juggler‘s Day once again presents a selection of artists from both the Czech Republic and abroad. Juggling appears here in many forms — from classical disciplines to cutting-edge experimental styles — and is enriched with elements of dance, magic, lighting design, and object manipulation. Each act has its own style and rhythm, but together they form a colourful and carefully balanced evening under the circus tent.
Featuring performances by:
- Jyoti Supernaturel (FR) – A French performer with over 25 years of experience presents Miracle of Balance, combining contact juggling with balancing skills, contortion, and the illusion of levitation.
- Daniela Paličková (CZ) – A Czech juggler whose club juggling style is defined by minimalist trajectories and a subtle synchrony between body movement and rhythmic flow.
- Cie Monad: Van-Kim Tran & Cyrille Humen (FR) – A duet inspired by Sufi dance, merging contact juggling and contemporary dance in an excerpt from their show Yin Zero.
- Aleš Hrdlička (CZ) – A brand-new act from this Czech juggler and illusionist, combining ring manipulation with elements of stage magic.
- Axel Bernard-Bouissières (FR) – A poetic juggling act with handcrafted flowers, characterised by its gentle tempo and playful imagination.
- Anna Weszelowski (HU) – A light performance blending LED object manipulation and costume design, thematically focused on inner tension and its transformation into movement.
- Jean-Sou (FR) – Original juggling with Asian umbrellas, blending precision, balance, and a calm, meditative rhythm.
The evening’s dramaturgy was curated by Vojta Stolbenko.
