SMETANA 200 & CONTEMPORARIES
This year, the music world is celebrating the 200th anniversary of the birth of composer Bedřich Smetana. On this occasion, the Smetana Philharmonic Orchestra Prague will offer a concert in the church of St. Šimon and Judy, where you will hear the works of Bedřich Smetana and his peers, such as Antonín Dvořák, Robert Schumann or C. M. von Weber. All this performed by the Smetana Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra Prague, under the baton of the German conductor Helge Dorsch. Lukáš Bartoníček - an outstanding clarinetist of today's young generation - will perform as a soloist.
