ABOUT EVENT

“Cremulator” is the first production based on the novel of the same name by Sasha Filipenko, which was written on the basis of the interrogation documents of the director of the first crematorium in the USSR (was it the first ever? Or main crematorium).

It is the story of Peter Nesterenko, a pilot officer of the Beloguards who, after a long ordeal in exile in the early 20th century, makes a deal with the Soviets and returns to his homeland.

It is a story about the formation and choice of one’s own truth, about its burning and erasure of several generations, about emigration and the war of the last century; about faith and great love, which is meaningless if its devoted audience is a tyrant.
