Singer, multi-instrumentalist, studio musician, arranger, and producer. His work is difficult to categorize by genre, as he employs a wide array of musical styles—from folklore and folk, through various stages of rock development (folk-rock, jazz-rock, art-rock), to sometimes quite complex compositional and arranging techniques. These have earned him the nicknames "Valašský Mozart" (Mozart of Valašsko) and "Moravský Oldfield" (Oldfield of Moravia) from music journalists.
