The original acrobatic-dance performance Lights and Shadows by Silk&Steel takes you into a world where emotions are told through movement.

Why Lights and Shadows?

-Because each of us carries both within ourselves.

-Because not everything is always as beautiful as we once imagined.

-Because even the darkest shadow can become the beginning of light.

The entire story symbolizes the journey of a woman performer. A journey from doubt to courage, from hiding to authenticity. A journey that hurts and heals at the same time.

Surely all of you have experienced those bright moments when everything fell into place and you felt happy or carefree. And then the shadowed moments, when you lost your direction or felt suffocated by the gaze of others. However you may feel right now — you are not alone.

This story is about inner transformation. About falling and being reborn. About the truth we usually hide. And about a process we all know only too well.

The evening also features original visual projections and breathtaking performances by women who are not afraid to be seen and to feel.
