Description
LATIN GROOVE is a new concert project by guitarist Lukáš Chejn, a member of the Czech National Symphony Orchestra, who has long been dedicated to jazz, Latin American music and genre overlaps. With his band, he brings a program inspired by the work of the greatest personalities of Brazilian and Latin American music, including Antonio Carlos Jobim, Sérgio Mendes and other legendary authors.
A prominent part of the project is the singer Alice Bauer, known from the successful vocal sextet Skety and a number of her own musical projects. Her unique expression gives the compositions lightness, energy and an authentic atmosphere of Latin American music.
The concert will feature famous jazz and bossa nova standards as well as lesser-known musical treasures that will transport the listeners to a world of hot rhythms, captivating melodies and the Brazilian sun. Top musicians, sensitive arrangements and the unique interplay of the band promise an exceptional musical experience.
