YAMATO

ABOUT THE SHOW

The sound of drums has always resonated with the human heart, just as the heartbeat resonates within us. It is an immense force – in Japanese, “Hito no Chikara”, the power of humanity.

This is the title and central theme of the brand-new show by the renowned Japanese drumming ensemble YAMATO, whose spectacular performances and wholehearted approach have earned them a large following in the Czech Republic.

No artificial intelligence or advanced algorithm can imitate the unrivalled precision of Taiko drumming or the way these artists share their craft with the audience. Come and feel with your own ears and body how true masters drum with heart and soul.

YAMATO invite you to celebrate humanity and its power: unique emotions, ethics, creativity, intuition, physical limits and the richness of personal experience. Become part of stories told by legendary Taiko drums that make every cell vibrate and set your heart pounding.
