ABOUT THE CONCERT

The Dalibor Havlíček Symphony Orchestra invites you to an evening filled with iconic melodies from international and Czech film music. Look forward to epic themes from The Lord of the Rings and the series Game of Thrones; adventurous music from Indiana Jones, Pirates of the Caribbean and Harry Potter; the suspense of Mission: Impossible; and the famous James Bond theme. Legendary western melodies from Once Upon a Time in the West, The Magnificent Seven and Winnetou will also be heard. The programme further includes Hans Zimmer's captivating music from Inception, the moving tones of Forrest Gump and the celebrated “Imperial March” from the world of Star Wars. Admirers of Czech works will enjoy music from the musical A Night at Karlštejn and well-known Czech fairy tales.
