ABOUT THE PERFORMANCE

Two personalities, two major anniversaries and one exceptional evening at Ypsilonka.

Martin Dejdar celebrates 40 years at Studio Ypsilon and Jan Jiráň celebrates his 70th birthday. These two prominent members, inseparably linked with Ypsilonka’s story, become the stars of a festive evening full of memories, music and humour.

Four decades on stage, dozens of roles, unforgettable characters and countless shared experiences mark Martin Dejdar’s anniversary. The evening recalls his acting journey, legendary roles and stories from both the stage and behind the curtain.

Jan Jiráň is an actor, musician, composer and writer whose distinctive humour, musical talent and creative energy have belonged to Ypsilonka for many years. His milestone birthday deserves a proper celebration.

The evening continues Ypsilonka’s celebrated tradition in collaboration with presenter Aleš Cibulka, his Tobogan programme and Czech Radio Dvojka. Expect amusing stories, musical performances, surprises and plenty of typical Ypsilonka humour.
