Martin Dejdar – or rather his legendary alter ego Ozzák from the sitcom Comeback – has joined forces with Děda Mládek Illegal Band. The result is the project DĚDA OZZÁK LEGAL BAND.

Ozzák decided that his singing talent could no longer remain hidden and invited the best possible companions to join him. The members of DMIB, known for their distinctive versions of Ivan Mládek’s hits, transformed Czech and international songs into original country-rock-punk arrangements.

Martin Dejdar in full Ozzák attire and Děda Mládek Illegal Band have taken fifteen songs everyone knows by heart and reworked them in ways you have never heard before. Expect Highway to Hell with a fairground stomp and Nirvana featuring a washboard solo.

Between songs, Ozzák shares stories from his life – about his father, his pub-keeper grandfather and how to find the way to a pub even in the middle of a deep forest. And because no one truly dies in Ozzák’s world, they simply move to Palmovka, Ozzy Osbourne might even make an appearance.

Come and shout along to the choruses you have known since your teenage years. And remember, guys – be good to one another!
