Old Town Hall - WITH SKIP THE LINE ELEVATOR
The Old Town Hall was established in 1338 as the seat of the Old Town administration. The oldest part of the complex consists of the southern wing a beautiful Gothic tower with a bay chapel and a unique astronomical clock – known as the Orloj – where, every hour between 9 am and 11 pm, the twelve apostles appear. The Gothic Revival eastern wing of the Town Hall was destroyed during the Prague Uprising on May 8, 1945 and was never rebuilt. The visitor route includes the chapel, historical halls, the underground areas and the tower.

ABOUT OLD TOWN HALL
The Old Town Hall was established in 1338 as the seat of the Old Town administration. The oldest part of the complex consists of the southern wing a beautiful Gothic tower with a bay chapel and a unique astronomical clock – known as the Orloj – where, every hour between 9 am and 11 pm, the twelve apostles appear. Access to the town hall tower is barrier-free – from the ground floor there is an elevator to the third floor and is followed by a separate elevator inside the tower (capacity 10 people). There is a mobile platform between the two elevators. Historical interiors do not have barrier-free access.
INFO ABOUT TICKET
The eTicket is valid for 1 month. This eTicket includes entry to the tower only.
Children under the age of 15 may visit the site only when accompanied by an adult. Visitors aged 16 to 26 and seniors aged 65 and over must present a valid ID to verify their age.
TOUR OPTIONS
A single ticket to the Old Town Hall entitles you to enter the Town Hall Tower.
The Chapel of the Virgin Mary, the representative halls and the Romanesque-Gothic underground can only be visited as part of a guided tour. Tickets for the guided tour can be purchased at the ticket office.
