It’s here! The opera ensemble has prepared another fun project for children and whole families.
Benjamin Britten was a great promoter of music for young audiences, and his opera Noye’s Fludde (Noah’s Ark) is like an advertisement for the joy of music and in music. Britten approached the story, based on medieval mystery plays about the flood, with humor, perspective, and above all, gave space not only to adults but also to children. They must join forces in the orchestra, where, in addition to flute and string parts, there are also a number of percussion instruments for the children, including the mysterious “slung mug” device that mimics the sound of rain. Roles await them on stage as well, and the composer did not forget the children in the audience, who also have the opportunity to join in the singing.
Come help us save the world and all the animals and experience an opera performance firsthand, not just as spectators, but by becoming a part of it.
