Filmový orchestr Praha

ABOUT THE CONCERT

Prague Film Orchestra invites audiences to a unique evening full of unforgettable film melodies. The programme offers a varied cross-section of Czech and international film music—from evocative instrumental works from Czech films and television series such as Babička and F. L. Věk to favourite songs from fairy tales performed by a solo singer.

The second half features music by the world’s leading film composers, above all masterpieces by Hans Zimmer and Ennio Morricone, whose melodies have accompanied the most successful films of recent decades.

The orchestra is conducted by the young and talented Matyáš Vons, who combines energy, musical precision and immediate contact with the audience.

The concert is for every generation—children, parents, grandparents and film-music lovers of all ages. Come and enjoy an evening of emotion, memories and melodies that long ago transcended the boundaries of the cinema screen.
