Amazonia

After a plane crash, Saï, a young capuchin monkey, finds himself alone in the heart of the Amazon rainforest. Unprepared for life in the wild, he must overcome his fear, learn to survive, and find his place among other monkeys to stay alive. French director Thierry Ragobert and his team spent two years on location to capture the breathtaking scenery and a vast array of different animal species. The documentary footage was then edited to tell Saï’s story. It is a heroic tale full of drama and overcoming obstacles. Amazonia is a film for the whole family, an ode to the beauty and diversity of the Amazon rainforest with truly unique and enchanting scenery.
