The Firewomen, or Volunteer Firefighters from Pandora’s Box

ABOUT THE PERFORMANCE

Martin Janouš’s new original production is a theatrical farce about people who helped others while needing help themselves.

What can happen when Pandora’s box opens, full of relationships, misunderstandings, good intentions and unexpected situations? And what if a group of volunteer firewomen step in with their determination to save whatever they can? The Firewomen is a brisk comedy full of humour, music and situations that can spin out of control in an instant. Sometimes it is not enough to arrive on time, mean well and be ready to help. Occasionally, the rescuers themselves need saving.
