ČRo Vltava: Nick Cave at the Movies and the Band Kalle

ABOUT THE EVENT

Immerse yourself in the world of Nick Cave and his band, The Bad Seeds—in songs, images, and stories that straddle the boundaries of death, faith, love, and mourning. An evening dedicated to Pavel Klusák’s premiere music-documentary series *Nebe nad Nickem* (*The Sky Above Nick*)—songs and demons of the rock preacher—will offer new perspectives on one of the most distinctive figures in contemporary music, as well as clips from music videos. This encounter with the work of an artist who has been transforming personal experiences into music, literature, and his own myth for more than four decades is an invitation for die-hard fans as well as those who are just discovering his world.

Pavel Klusák, the author of the series, will guide you through the evening. You can also look forward to the only Prague concert by the band Kalle this year. The band will perform a special set, complemented by original music from the *Nebe nad Nickem* series.
