In 1972, the Czech poet and playwright František Hrubín published the fairy tale in verse The Beauty and the Beast, included in the last collection he completed.
Inspired by a widely known ancient Indo-European myth, he imbued it with his singular vision of the world.
The timeless archetypal legend of the power and magic of love enthrals all generations.
Suitable for children from 10 years old.
