Between dream and reality
Kafka’s The Trial brings Josef K. to the stage of the Estates Theatre; his futile struggle with judicial power exposes the helplessness of the individual against an absurd system. Giselle, one of the pinnacles of Romantic ballet, has captivated audiences since 1841 with a story of love, betrayal and forgiveness in which the real and supernatural worlds intertwine.
