100 Voices: Gospel and the Spirit

ABOUT THE CONCERT

Following the extraordinary success of the Hundred Voices concert in 2025, the American Jeremy Winston Chorale returns to the Prague Proms festival. Together with the Czech National Symphony Orchestra, the hundred-strong choir will present an evening devoted to gospel music and African American spirituals – music imbued with faith, joy and hope.

Led by its founder, choirmaster and conductor Jeremy Winston, the ensemble will perform traditional spirituals and other works rooted in the rich tradition of African American music. The combination of a powerful choral sound and a symphony orchestra promises an impressive musical experience and an encounter with music that has moved audiences for generations through its energy, strength and emotion.
