All about Love
In 2024 we recorded a new jazz album All About Love featuring american singer Valerie Kippen in the CNSO Studio in Hostivař, and from that moment we knew our collaboration wouldn’t end there. We are happy to announce that renewed collaboration has finally been agreed. ABOUT
In 2024 we recorded a new jazz album All About Love featuring american singer Valerie Kippen in the CNSO Studio in Hostivař, and from that moment we knew our collaboration wouldn’t end there.
We are happy to announce that renewed collaboration has finally been agreed. The jazz vocalist will travel from San Francisco to Prague where she will perform at the Loop Jazz Club alongside other world class musicians. The show will feature songs not only from her previous album recorded with us, but also other key pieces from her repertoire. Valerie Kippen is known for her incredible rhythm, unique vocal style, melodic lyrics and perfect intonation. She has performed in world famous jazz venues in San Francisco and New York, such as Yoshi’s, Jazz at Pearl’s, Club 36, Rassela’s, Lascaux, Domaine Chandon, The Mandarin Oriental, Birdland Jazz Club, Tatou and the Town Hall.
The singer will be accompanied at the Prague Proms festival by trumpetist Jan Hasenöhrl, guitarist Lukáš Chejn, pianist Jakub Zomer and percussionist Martin Kopřiva. Another key musical performance will be by Taras Voloshchuk, who originally studied violin but became a renowned double bass player after coming to Prague. He is also known for performing with Lenka Dusilová or the group Čechomor.
Keyboard Magazine has called Kippen “a uniquely gifted performer” and we are sure that our audiences and lovers of jazz and swing, will agree.
