Description
Five mischievous performers from France arrive in Prague in a Fiat Panda to stir up some serious chaos!
An acrobatic road trip like no other.
Five brothers who have never met come together at their father’s funeral. Afterwards, they set off to scatter his ashes, traveling together in a tiny Fiat Panda. What might happen along the way, they have no idea—but fortunately, they are equipped with a wide range of acrobatic skills.
The young troupe Cirque La Compagnie brings its road trip show to Letní Letná, a performance full of unexpected twists and, above all, brilliantly executed circus disciplines.
Accompanied by a live band, the acrobats perform dangerous acts with ease and humor.
Pandax is only the company’s second production, yet audiences of Letní Letná know them very well. In 2021, they brought their first show L’avis Bidon to Letná Park, completely enchanting Prague audiences. Viewers returned to see it again and again, rewarding these rascals with endless applause every evening.

About the company:
Cirque La Compagnie is the story of four friends who met while studying at the National Circus School in Montreal. It was there that a strong bond formed between them, along with a shared dream—to create their own circus company.
In 2014, they began preparing for their debut, dedicating several years to careful planning before fully committing to their first major premiere.
Today, they stand on stage with their debut production, ready to meet their audience.
The company consists of artists who have mastered their bodies, music, and the risks associated with performance. Their goal is direct contact with the audience, to draw them into their world and let them experience the power of circus firsthand.
The company also presents solo acts by individual artists:
“Chaises” → Charlie Mach
“Mât” → Baptiste Clerc
“Planche/Mât” → Boris Fodella, Zackary Arnaud, Charlie Mach, Baptiste Clerc
In 2017, they created their first show, L’avis bidon – Face A, for the street. A year later came L’avis bidon – Face B, adapted for theatres. This show has been performed more than 150 times across Europe and was also presented at Letní Letná in 2021.
Reviews
“Every minute of this gripping performance captivates the audience with its extraordinary technical precision. The swing, Chinese pole, knife throwing, free ladder, and motorcycle acrobatics become a kind of dialogue between five brothers who cannot communicate with words.
This deeply generous group of acrobats constantly pushes the limits of what is possible, dazzling us with the breadth and diversity of their talent.”
— Émile Ade, Zone Critique, Jan 22, 2024
“The result is an explosive cocktail—perhaps a little risky for the performers, but festive and thrilling for the audience. Spectators are enchanted by the constant clash of ideas in every scene: a Fiat Panda in the ring, gags with a funeral urn, on foot and by motorbike, pétanque ball ballets, musical-style interludes, clown characters... Everything is here to surprise, enchant, and draw us into their initiatory road trip.”
— Léa de Truchis de Varennes, Journal de Terrasse, Sept 26, 2021
“A breathtaking acrobatic performance by five brothers, where top-level technical precision meets raw emotion… The performers push the limits of possibility and captivate audiences with the scope of their talent and the intensity of their shared experience.”
