Bach-Collegium Prague

St. John's Organ Cycle 6/25 | Jaroslava Čiháková Tajanovská - hoboj

Our leading oboist, a member of the PKF orchestra, Jaroslava Čiháková Tajanovská will perform on the oboe. In her performance, we can look forward to the famous Concerto in D minor for oboe by the Italian baroque composer A. Marcello. Jaroslava is an exceptional artist also with her singing talent, which allows her to include solo vocal compositions in the program. This time she has chosen the cycle Four Songs to the Virgin Mary to poetic texts by the poet Zuzana Nováková by the contemporary composer J. Bernátek. This time too, the pivotal organ composition by J. S. Bach, Prelude and Fugue in A minor, will not be missing from the program.
