Christmas Concert: Václav Marek Orchestra

ABOUT THE CONCERT

Václav MAREK with the orchestra plays the best music not only from the last century for dancing and listening. It continuously follows our most famous musical groups in the history of popular music.

"Christmas Concert 2026" brings together popular Christmas songs and compositions, including the most beautiful classic Czech carols, in addition to domestic hits and world-famous and proven evergreens.

The main guest will be Jan ČENSKÝ, a graduate of the music and drama department of the Prague Conservatory and representative of a number of television princes and kings, who is one of the most popular theater, film and television actors. In addition to acting, he moderates social events, dubbing and works as a rhetoric and communication lecturer.

The vocal soloists will be Kateřina JINDROVÁ (singer, actress, dubbing artist, music director, singing teacher and fitness trainer) and Štěpán RŮŽIČKA (in addition to teaching, he is engaged in opera, drama, studio recording and performs with various orchestras).

Program moderator Dr. Milan MAREK is a great lover of the Liberated Theatre, the Semafor Theater and the Jára Cimrman Theater. His love for the spoken word led him to work at Czech Radio, the Semafor Theater, the Blue Star Ensemble and the Václav Marek Orchestra.
