ABOUT THE PLAY

Simona Stašová always chooses comedies that offer not only humour but also depth. This time she has selected a truly wonderful one: the tender American romantic play Terms of Endearment.

We witness how important it is not to lose our inner strength, sense of humour and love in life, even though we may not be perfect. A very funny, touching and powerful story about a mother, a daughter and an astronaut.

Audiences can look forward to an acting tour de force by Simona Stašová and Miroslav Etzler. Kamila Trnková appears as the daughter.

The play is adapted from Paramount Motion Pictures’ film Terms of Endearment and Larry McMurtry’s novel of the same name. Linda Gray created the role of Aurora Greenway at York Theatre Royal and later performed it at major theatres across Great Britain.
