Focused on Jazz Fusion
Once again the audience can enjoy jazz fusion during the evening at this year's Prague Proms festival. A musical genre from the late 1960s evolved into a new style that combines jazz improvisation with rock, funk and R&B. During the Focused on Jazz Fusion project, The Loop Jazz Orchestra will present pieces by leading jazz fusion composers for the second time. Synthesizers and other electrified instruments, which are typical for fusion, will accompany the entire bigband.

ABOUT
Once again the audience can enjoy jazz fusion during the evening at this year's Prague Proms festival. A musical genre from the late 1960s evolved into a new style that combines jazz improvisation with rock, funk and R&B. The style is characterized by a rather urgent and expansive sound and rock rhythms with specific instrumentation, especially electric guitars and keys, which weren’t that common in jazz until then.
During the Focused on Jazz Fusion project, The Loop Jazz Orchestra will present pieces by leading jazz fusion composers for the second time. Synthesizers and other electrified instruments, which are typical for fusion, will accompany the entire bigband.
