ABOUT THE CONCERT
The Dvořák Trio returns to our chamber series after nine years, although many listeners will still remember its deeply felt interpretations of Debussy and Janáček. This time the ensemble has again chosen exceptional works — masterful scores by mature composers. Beethoven is indispensable as we mark the bicentenary of his death in March 2027. Johannes Brahms, a close and important friend of Antonín Dvořák, is the other great master represented. Luboš Fišer’s music is heard mainly in films and large concert halls; his emotional Trio is a rare presence on concert stages, making this an opportunity not to be missed.
