ABOUT THE CONCERT
We still vividly remember the breathtaking solo playing of harpsichordist Francesco Corti when he made his debut at our church with recorder player Erik Bosgraaf in April 2024. We knew he simply had to return. This time his partner is the phenomenal violinist Ilya Gringolts, whose teachers included Itzhak Perlman.
Gringolts’s flawless technique allows him to work magic not only on the modern violin but also on historical instruments, including the Baroque violin. We are delighted to welcome him to our Early Music series, guarded by its towering figures Johann Sebastian Bach and Antonio Vivaldi.
