Kalkant: Meeting of Generations

ABOUT THE CONCERT

The Kalkant project brings young musicians together with experienced performers, supporting their path toward a professional career on the concert stage. At its core lies intergenerational collaboration, through which established artists pass on their knowledge to the rising generation.

The Meeting of Generations concert brings together trumpeters Eva Osičková, Jan Hasenöhrl, Jiří Houdek, Jan Hykrda and Vojtěch Stejskal in a programme designed to showcase their virtuosity, their sensitivity as ensemble players, and the rich, varied colours of the trumpet’s sound. Five trumpeters will thus share one stage—not only making music together, but also engaging in a dialogue between experience and youthful energy.
