ABOUT THE PLAY
A play by Ivan Vyskočil that Ivan Vyskočil never wrote, so we put it together ourselves. Welcome to Prague in 1936. In a forgotten pastry shop on the outskirts, cakes, illusions and certainties disappear. A pastry chef who can no longer stand the sight of sweets and therefore makes them blindfolded; a daughter yearning to escape anywhere someone might truly see her; an assistant lost between philosophy and love.
A play full of humour, exaggeration and unsettling questions: What if the world is changing and we only notice when the display window is empty?
