Mozart's radiant motet Exultate jubilate, K. 165 for soprano and orchestra, the opening composition of the evening, which combines joy, freshness and brilliant vocal technique, will be performed by the singer Veronika Rovná.
This will be followed by Sinfonia Turchesca by Franz Xaver Süssmayr, the composer who is famous for having completed Mozart's Requiem. His Turkish-inspired sinfonia takes you into a world of colourful oriental rhythms.
The evening will conclude with Symphony in C Minor by Pavel Vranický, an important Czech composer whose work stood between musical classicism and romanticism. In his symphony you experience great expressiveness and rich orchestral sound - all under the baton of conductor Jiří Habart.
