ABOUT THE CONCERT
Django Always is one of the leading representatives of the Czech gypsy jazz scene. The trio builds on the legacy of the legendary guitarist and composer Django Reinhardt, bringing the authentic sound of Jazz Manouche to life with remarkable ease. Their music combines virtuosic guitar playing, swinging rhythms, and a distinctive melodic inventiveness.
The programme will feature a selection of compositions by Django Reinhardt, along with works by other prominent representatives of gypsy jazz and French swing. Performed by guitarists Tschavolo Vlasák and Kája Vlasák, accompanied by bassist Luboš “Lubass” Svoboda, the concert will present music inspired by the golden age of European jazz, whose immediacy continues to captivate audiences to this day.
