ABOUT THE PLAY

Welcome to a time when people treated one another with decency

A COMEDY ABOUT A SERVANT WHO BECOMES THE MASTER OF HIS MASTER.

The production's subtitle, “Welcome to a time when people treated one another with decency”, reflects both the timeless nature of the play and Divadlo Na Jezerce's approach to staging it. Zdeněk Jirotka did not write “just” a humorous novel – through gentle humour, he celebrates honesty, decency and democracy.

A comedy for the whole family!
