Faust

ABOUT THE PERFORMANCE

Divadlo D7 / ZUŠ Dobruška – Faust
J. W. Goethe / Jan Holek

The famous legend of Doctor Faust, who signs his soul over to Mephistopheles while searching for the limits of life. Darkness and evil clash with goodness and love. Hell stands against heaven, and eternal questions of life and death remain unanswered. Faust’s tragic story, his struggle through life and search for the unknowable, his pact with the devil and, at the same time, his great love for Gretchen – this is the legend of Faust.
