This world-wide successful production paints the life story of the Empress Elisabeth known as Sisi, in which love, hatred, joy, and death intertwine. It is a tragic story of the wife of Franz Joseph I of Austria—the wife who was ahead of her time, living at the conservative Viennese Court during turbulent times of a declining monarchy.
