St. John's Organ Cycle 1/25 - Jan Verner a Miloslav Macháň - trumpets
The opening concert of the St. John's Organ Cycle is always held on the occasion of the feast of St. John of Nepomuk. The program will be carried out in a festive spirit, performed by two of our leading trumpeters (members of the Castle Guard Music) with organ accompaniment. The virtuoso Italian-tuned Bach's Organ Prelude and Fugue in D major will be complemented by the Trio Sonata in E minor. We will hear two trumpets, among others, in the well-known Vespertino Sonata by P. J. Vejvanovský or in the Double Concerto in C major by A. Vivaldi.
