ABOUT THE CONCERT

GALA concert of the Chamber Orchestra of the Animato Foundation

The international youth orchestra of the Animatou Foundation is returning to Prague after a three-year hiatus. During its 2021 European tour, the orchestra will perform 5 concerts in Austria, Czech Republic and Germany.

The young tallented pianist, Claire Huangci (USA), winner of the first prize and the Mozart prize at the 2018 Geza Anda Competition, continuously captivates audiences with her “radiant virtuosity, artistic sensitivity, keen interactive sense and subtle auditory dramaturgy” (Salzburger Nachrichten). In solo recitals and with international orchestras, Claire has appeared in some of the most prestigious halls such as Carnegie Hall, Suntory Hall Tokyo, NCPA Beijing, Paris Philharmonie and Hamburg Elbphilharmonie. She is a frequent guest at renowned festivals including Lucerne Festival, Verbier Festival or Schleswig Holstein Musik Festival.

Covid-19

Special measures valid as of 1 September 2021

Everyone attending the concert must present written or electronic confirmation of satisfying one of the following conditions:

• 14 days have passed since the second dose of vaccination (for two-dose vaccines);
• a negative PCR test not more than 7 days old (testing is not required for children up to age 6);
• a negative POC antigen test not more than 72 hours old (testing is not required for children up to age 6), (a POC antigen test is an antigen test administered and subsequently evaluated at a public testing site or at another site licensed for such testing);
• after suffering from COVID-19, the period of isolation has lapsed, but not more than 180 days have passed (from the first positive test);

Admission to and presence at event venues will be permitted only with a respirator or nano mask for the entire duration of the event.

As the presenter, we must check compliance with these requirements. To make the checks go smoothly, we ask that you arrive on time. You will make our checks much easier by installing the mobile telephone application “Tečka” (Dot) from the Czech Ministry of Health.
