Eva Gevorgyan

Critics are thrilled by her "emotional eloquence and perfect technique" combined with all the "important features of a mature master." Eighteen-year-old Russian-Armenian pianist Eva Gevorgyan quickly established herself as one of the most promising talents in the piano world.

Eva Gevorgyan has performed with many acclaimed orchestras around the world and participated in several music festivals. Eva has performed with conductors such as Vladimir Spivakov, Vasily Petrenko and many others.

In the XVIII. Eva Gevorgyan was the youngest finalist at the International Chopin Competition in Warsaw. Eva was also the winner of the ICMA Discovery Award in 2019. In total, she won awards at more than forty international piano and song competitions in the United States, Europe and Russia.

Eva is a Young Yamaha Artist and a scholarship holder from the International Academy of Music in Liechtenstein, the Denis Matsuev’s New Names Foundation, the YerazArt Foundation, Artis Futura by Vladimir Spivakov and the Armenian Assembly.

Eva Gevorgyan was born in April 2004. She is studying with Professor Natalie Trull at the Moscow State Conservatory.

Leoš Čepický

He graduated from the Conservatory in Pardubice and the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. Of the many international competitions, let us mention at least the successes in Zagreb or Gorizia, Italy. He often performs both in solo recitals and in concerts with the orchestra at home and abroad. In 2000, on the occasion of the 250th anniversary of J. S. Bach's death, he presented a complete performance of Sonatas and Partit for solo violin at the Smetana's Litomyšl festival, and two years later a recording was made for Multisonic. Since 2007 he has been teaching violin at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague and in September 2010 he was appointed head of the string department of HAMU. Already during his studies he became the headmaster of the Wihan Quartet, of which he is still a member. With the Wihan Quartet, he won first prize at the Prague Spring 1988 and first place at the International String Quartet Competition in London in 1991. In 2008-2009, the Wihan Quartet performed all 16 Ludwig van Beethoven Quartets. Leoš Čepický plays the violin from the workshop of the master violinist Jan B. Špidlen, a copy of Guarneri del Gesù 1741.
